Piggy Pops!

Luci's hair is barely long enough to put in pigtails-but I have waited as long as I could. After much fussing and fighting ( and momma breaking out in a sweat) I finally got them in her hair! They are so cute, but don't last very long! It is sad to say, but at this point I am not sure she is going to get the curls that they boys both had-which is breaking my heart! Jay tried to make me feel better by saying-"We'll, at least we won't have to buy one of those expensive straitening irons for her" Yea, that only makes his wallet feel better!
But this is so cute! They stick out about an inch from her head! I can't wait for them to get a littl ebit longer so I can put that sprig on top of her head with a huge bow!!

The name "Piggy Pops" came from John William. I told him they were pig tails, but he said he was going to call them "Piggy Pops"-thus another crazy Madison family term. Kinda like when Jay started the "Rooty-pooting" saying. Basically if you are rooty-pooting around you are just screwing up and about to get in big trouble. We have LOTS of rooty-pooting that goes on at my house-Jay had no idea the trouble he created for himself when he came up with that-b/c he is the KING of Rooty-poot island!!

Sweet girl! Jay and I were gone all last week to the Gin Show in Memphis ( on a much needed VACAY for Mom) and I feel like they grew 2 feet while we were gone! Luci is a full walker now-no more crawling at all. She can just about run if she wants something bad enough! She is so cute!

The Jacuzzi!

I recently started bathing Luci in the sink in the kitchen, because it kills my back to lean over the tub! She loves it-I think she thinks she is in her own personal jacuzzi b/c we can get the water so deep!
She pulls whatever is on the counter into the bath with her.
Wet hair has never been prettier!

Luci loves the water! I can not wait until this summer to take her swimming! She loves to splash and play-she gets the kitchen wet all over when she is in the sink!
