My child is an honor student at redwood elementary!!!

John William made All A Honor Roll for the first nine weeks of school this year!! I have got to get me a bumper sticker for the minivan!! (That's all I need!!)

We are so proud of him!!!

The Middle Child

I have to say life have definatley been interesting since Luci made her debut in January. Things (laundry, dishes, bills...) never get finished in our house anymore and most of the time we are lucky if we have the energy to even remember what we started to begin with!!! So having said that, I have to recognize my poor, confused middle child!! He is not getting overlooked because he is way too smart for that to happen. (he will poke someone until they scream, to get attention)

Now I am not saying he is bad-becasue he is such a sweet child. But he is having trouble finding his place. I'm sure his thoughts are as follows: "Momma and Daddy are always taking pictures of this little person- a.k.a Wuci- who showed up all in pink 9 months ago. Take my pictures-CHEEEEESSSSSEEEE. And everyone runs to her when she screams-so maybe I should try that.........yeah, that didn't work, I got Mr. Home Depot over all that yelling I was doing. And John William gets to do all that fun stuff called homework everynight since he is in the first grade-I can't understand why he whines like a girl about it all the time..hmm

....Guess I'll just play with my old toys in this box with see through sides...wonder where momma has been hiding this cool stuff. She keeps saying these are baby toys-but toys are toys I say!!

We really do love our middle child!!! And he has been pappy free for three nights!!! We do still have blu baby!!

Saturday mornings

Saturday morning arer usually pretty hecticin our house becasue we are always running out the door for 4 hours of soccer!! But Saturday is also a big day because it is football day. I have to admit that I love SEC football so we get all in the spirit! This is Luci's Bulldog dress!!

However, before all this running and the games begin, this is what it looks like in our house around 6:30 on Saturday mornings!!

New Shoes

Luci got her first pair of shoe's last week. Of course it was a huge decision-you know, white after labor day...ok or not ok? Anyway the lady finally convinced me it was alright for her but I will probably still purchase a few more pairs in more appropriate colors.

She did seem to like them at first but she doesn't mind themnow. This is from last weekend when we had a cool snap and she was decked out in a cute sweater and her new shoes. She loves the dogs.

Pumpkin Patch

We had Cooper's school (yes I said SCHOOL not just the class-the whole school) out to our house for a Pumpkin Patch. They are all 2, 3 & 4 years olds. We hid pumpkins in the pasture and the kids all got to find them!

Cooper was so excited while he was waitin gon everyone to get to the house.

Jay hooked up a trailor and took the kids on a hay ride-most of the little boys were fascinated by the tractor.

Cooper found a good one!!

More Pumpkin Patch

Soccer

Cooper is playing soccer this year and it is so funny! This is his first year and Jay is coaching him as well as John William's team. This is the players getting ready to begin.

Biter Biscuts-YUK!

For all you parents that have little ones younger than Luci, just know the biter biscuts are coming and they are so messy!! Luci loves them, but you have to bathe her immediatly after she eats them.

Our new Blu Baby!

This is Luci's "blankee" as we call it. My Aunt Nell from Drew made it for her. We started when she was a newborn covering her up with it and it has just stuck. Nowadays, we lay her in her bed at night, cover her up and she grabs one corner of the blanket and rolls over.

She usually ends up like a burritto-all rolled up tight. This is from one night when her head was covered up. Ihad to pull itback just to take the picture, but this is the way she sleeps every night. I know, we are the poster children for SIDS.

This is how I find her every morning. Ready to go, with blankee and pappy.
